The current methodology skews the data towards the religion of birth as opposed to current religious status.

Having a gateway question removes this data skewing impact.

Vastly improves the data integrity for reviewing religious affiliation.

Do you have any further information on the Religious affiliation topic to inform our assessment?

There is an estimated $35B per year in direct and indirect taxation exemptions, subsidies, grants and potential lost revenue within this sector. The current skewed methodology is used to justify much of that expenditure / loss in revenue. A more accurate picture of actual religious affiliation would provide greater input into policy considerations.
