This website is managed by the ABS. The ABS is subject to the Privacy Act which requires that the ABS comply with the APPs as set out in the Privacy Act. The APPs regulate the ABS’s obligations in relation to the collection, storage, use, disclosure, quality and security of personal information and access and correction rights of individuals in relation to their personal information.

As part of making a submission, your personal information is being collected by the ABS and the technology service provider for the consultation, Delib.

The ABS may collect and hold the following personal information that you provide in your submission:
- Name
- Email Address
- Phone number
- Job title
- Organisation
- Responses to consultation questions
The personal information on your submission will be de-identified during analysis and not shared with other third parties, unless required by law. We reserve the right to edit (for example, remove defamatory material or, where appropriate, de-identify personal or sensitive information) where necessary.
If you have provided a submission on behalf of an organisation, the ABS may share the information in your submission to an alternative contact within your organisation if there is a legitimate reason to do so.
The ABS may publish summaries of survey submissions in the ABS Consultation Hub, however, these will not contain any details to identify the submitter.
Delib Privacy Information
Delib's software (this website) enables organisations to set up and operate activities, through which they can engage with you.
This site is managed by the controlling organisation, Australian Bureau of Statistics. When you access and use this site, the personal information you have submitted to these activities will go to the organisation. Delib will not access your personal information unless requested to do so by the organisation, and only for the purposes of assisting them with the administration of this site.
Accessing your Personal Information
If you have any questions or requests about your personal information, for example to request a copy of it, or to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong, please contact the organisation (as stated in their Privacy Notice / Privacy Statement / Privacy Policy).
