Overview

The Treasury undertook a public consultation on behalf of the Assistant Treasurer on the draft Census and Statistics Amendment (Statistical Information) Regulations 2019 (the Regulation). The Regulation outlines what information can be collected in the 2021 Census. The Treasury consultation closed on 10 January 2020. The final decision on 2021 Census topics will be released in mid 2020.
