It comes to our attention after each census that many modes of transportation were surveyed, but never PTW (Powered Two Wheeled) devices. PTWs represent a significant community profile, from scooters and small bikes for commuting and delivery duties, to sporting motorcycles and touring motorcycles, many of which are also used for commuting and duties not confined to their main purpose. In addition PTWs make up a huge proportion of the off-road transport and farming and agricultural fleet, and are also a big form of off-road recreation. In short, users of PTWs make up a significant proportion of the population, and should be being surveyed on that basis, as they are on every other basis.
