The lack of recognition of motorcycles and scooters as a viable transport method that is both environmentally friendly and reduces congestion is concerning. They lack of data will impact the vast number of users of these vehicles and ad such they deserved to be recognised as a legitimate user group in their own right.

Continuing need
motorcycle use is increasing and will continue to increase as the cost of fuel, public transport and parking continue to spiral. The low cost of motorcycles and scooters for their purchase and overal running costs will see more and more people use them as a viable and cost effective transport. This is very relevant as data now and into the future.
